Born in Paris on November 2, 1759, Adrienne de Noailles died on December 24, 1807. She married Gilbert, Marquis de La Fayette , at the Hôtel de Noailles on April 11, 1774. Their only son, Georges-Washington, is the ancestor of your present hosts, through his daughter Mathilde de La Fayette, and then through Gilbert de Pusy La Fayette , who married Marie-Louise Dumas , the only daughter of Arthur and Marie de Brives , in Vollore on July 17, 1900. Madame Aubert La Fayette is the only daughter of their eldest son, Jean de Pusy La Fayette, who died for France on February 2, 1945, and his wife, Ghislaine de Montalivet .
