Description

Located on the first floor of the château, the Persian Room offers a spectacular view of the terraced south gardens, adorned with topiary, and the dotted landscape of the Couesnon Valley. In this setting of Persian art, parquet flooring, wood paneling, and a Directoire-era fireplace harmonize with one of the most celebrated Pierre Frey fabrics from the House of Braquenié. Reissued for the Château de la Ballue, the Grand Génois wall hanging reproduces the symbolic motif of the Tree of Life and evokes the exoticism of traditional 18th-century printed cottons. Stretched across panels over 4 meters high, the colorful and luminous fabric creates a unique and historic décor that pays homage to true craftsmanship.
