The Dosne-Thiers Foundation , housed in the former residence of President Adolphe Thiers , invites you to discover a place steeped in history. Bequeathed in 1905 to the Institut de France by his sister-in-law, Félicie Dosne, this mansion now houses the Thiers Library and memorabilia of the historian and politician.

The Dosne-Thiers Foundation is located in the private mansion that belonged to President Adolphe Thiers (1797-1877). This place, a witness to France's political and historical past, houses the Thiers Library , a collection specializing in the history of France from 1789 to 1900, particularly in the political, military, social and administrative fields.

Thiers' apartment, located in the former residence, also allows one to delve into the life and work of this statesman.

This unique site, both a place of remembrance and a research center, will allow you to discover the history of France through the eyes of one of its greatest presidents.

Opening Hours and Prices

Visits:
The Dosne-Thiers Hotel is open for visits for groups of 10 to 25 people with a guide-lecturer.

• Price: €12 per person.
• Specific rates apply for temporary exhibitions and cultural events .

Thiers Library:
Open to students (Master's level) and researchers on Thursdays and Fridays from 12pm to 6pm (closed in August).
