Spanning 75 hectares , the park of the Château de Breteuil offers a remarkable diversity of landscapes, combining history, nature and imagination.

Gardens blending tradition and elegance

The French-style gardens , designed by Henri and Achille Duchêne , were inspired by the style of Le Nôtre , highlighting the symmetry and harmony typical of great classical gardens.
The Jardin des Princes , a true jewel of colours, combines perennial plants and fruit trees , creating an environment conducive to strolling and botanical discovery.
It also features a mosaic of expertly trimmed boxwood , as well as a magnificent view of the Orangery , which can be admired from the Princes' Garden.

A gourmet interlude

  • Creperie kiosk : open on Sundays and public holidays from April 5th to November 1st.
  • Tea room : open on Sundays from November 8th to March 28th .

Perrault's fairy tales come to life

Breteuil is also a place of magic and storytelling, where young and old can rediscover the famous tales of Charles Perrault . A storyteller comes to tell them at 4:30 pm on Sundays and public holidays , as well as every day during the school holidays in the Paris region .

  • Interior tours of the castle : from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
  • Additional tour on Sundays, public holidays and during school holidays in the Paris region at 11:30 am.
  • Groups : by appointment.
  • Exhibitions and events organized throughout the year.

Prices :

  • Gardens + stories : 13.50 euros per adult, 12.50 euros for young people and seniors, teachers and large families, free for children under 5.
  • Castle + gardens + stories : 19.50 euros per adult, 17.50 euros for young people and seniors, teachers and large families, free for children under 5.
  • Groups : 10.50 euros per person.
