Noirlac Abbey, a must-see site in Bruère-Allichamps: what to see, what to do:
Noirlac Abbey, an architectural masterpiece, invites you to explore its history and heritage. A unique perspective of the site unfolds before the visitor as they approach the Abbey.
The cloister , magnificently preserved, will reveal its tranquility and beauty, as will the tulips within it , captured by the lens of the artist Henri Gaud. In the refectory , the stained-glass windows add a touch of light and color to this historic building.
A place of serenity and culture, ideal for immersing oneself in monastic history.
Schedules :
- In low season (February, March, November, and from December 1st to 21st), from Tuesday to Sunday and public holidays Mondays from 2pm to 5pm.
- In mid-season (April to June and September, October), from Tuesday to Sunday and public holidays on Mondays, from 10am to 6:30pm.
- During peak season (July - August), every day, from 10am to 6:30pm.
Opening hours subject to change / Last entry 30 minutes before closing. Dogs are not allowed on the abbey grounds. Thank you for your understanding. Self-guided visits: on opening days, with a visitor's leaflet (FR/EN) or the family activity booklet résonance (self-guided audio tour of the abbey). Opening afternoons, mid and high season, from 2 pm to 6:30 pm / Low season, from 2 pm to 5 pm
The résonance sound trail will be deactivated during the Rendez-vous aux jardins (June 7 and 8) and the Nouvelles Traversées (June 21 and 28 - July 5).
Guided tours: In low season, Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays at 2:30 pm. In mid and high season, Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays at 10:30 am, 2:30 pm and 4:30 pm.
Prices (monument and garden):
- Full adult price: €9
- Adult reduced price: €6
- Children under 12: Free
- Annual Pass'Noirlac: €25 (free visits to the monument and the surrounding countryside, and reduced rates for events)
