Château des Martinanches

Château des Martinanches

Saint Dier D'Auvergne

Les Martinanches offers a surprising and captivating charm. Nestled in a small valley within a park and surrounded by a moat, the château, originally built in the 11th century as an armory, was remodeled in the 15th and then again in the 18th centuries.

The reception rooms exude a pleasant sense of intimacy. A vaulted drawing room with a monumental fireplace, a dining room with 23 chairs, French-style ceilings, herringbone parquet floors, East India Company porcelain mementos of Alexandre de Riberolles, President of the Court of Auditors and Grand Chancellor of the Legion of Honor, Tuileries faience, and abundant furnishings complete the picture.
