Built at the bottom of a valley in a park and surrounded by a moat, this 11th-century castle exudes a surprising and captivating charm. It was remodeled in the 15th and 18th centuries. Features include a dining room, French-style ceilings, herringbone parquet floors, porcelain, and earthenware.
The Château des Martinanches invites you to discover its rich heritage during guided tours, where you can immerse yourself in the history and architecture of this exceptional monument.
The castle is open to visitors every day except Saturday during peak season, and on Sundays and public holidays during the off-season. Groups can also book tours at any time.
The entrance fee is adjusted according to age and category, and group rates are available on request.

- Guided tours :
- From July 1st to August 31st : Every day, except Saturday, from 2pm to 6pm.
- From May 1st to All Saints' Day : Sundays and public holidays from 2pm to 6pm.
- Groups : Visits by reservation throughout the year.

- Students and children over 12 years old : €6
- Children under 12 : €5

Saint Dier D'Auvergne Les Martinanches offers a surprising and captivating charm. Nestled in a small valley within a park and surrounded by a moat, the château, originally built in the 11th century as an armory, was remodeled in the 15th and then again in the 18th centuries.
The reception rooms exude a pleasant sense of intimacy. A vaulted drawing room with a monumental fireplace, a dining room with 23 chairs, French-style ceilings, herringbone parquet floors, East India Company porcelain mementos of Alexandre de Riberolles, President of the Court of Auditors and Grand Chancellor of the Legion of Honor, Tuileries faience, and abundant furnishings complete the picture.
