The Hôtel de Soubise, famous for its magnificent architecture, invites you to discover several of its state rooms and salons, including the Princess's Room , a majestic room designed for receptions and courtly life at the French court.
The Princess's Salon is another highlight of the visit. This salon contains exceptional furniture, including a roll-top desk and a small writing table , both signed by the renowned cabinetmaker Jean-Henri Riesener . The bed, on loan from the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, is adorned with the Rohan family crest , a symbol of the royal family. The salon also houses a double-sided Louis XV desk , an elegant piece of furniture that exemplifies the art of 18th-century furniture making.
