Hattonchâtel is located in the Meuse department, within the Lorraine Regional Natural Park, between Verdun and Metz, next to Vigneulles-lès-Hattonchâtel, a few kilometers from Lake Madine.
Hattonchâtel Castle, formerly the Lordship of the Bishops of Verdun, dates back to the 9th century. The Dukes of Lorraine resided there, as did numerous prominent figures, such as Monsieur de Calonne, Minister to Louis XVI. The castle and its terraces are situated at an altitude of 355 meters and 80 meters above the Woëvre plain and Lake Madine. The panorama is breathtaking. The layout of the gardens offers an impression of beauty and serenity.
Hattonchâtel Castle, with its Great Hall, a listed historical monument, the Burgraves' Hall, and its magnificent grounds, offers a splendid and authentic setting for all your receptions. Whether your event is a wedding reception, a seminar, a film shoot, photo shoots, a product presentation as part of your professional activity, or any other event activity of your choice, the Château d'Hattonchâtel is the enchanting and ideal place par excellence.
