The majestically situated Château de Tanlay offers a visit that combines history, architecture, and the beauty of the site. You can admire the green courtyard and its impressive towers, such as the chapel tower and the northwest tower , which bear witness to the castle's medieval past.

The elegant and imposing west façade and the entrance porch , rich in architectural detail, invite you to explore further. Don't miss the Coligny Tower and the Tanlay Tower , symbols of this aristocratic family's history.

As you walk through the different sections of the castle, you will be able to observe the coat of arms of the Marquises of Tanlay , which adds a touch of history to your experience.

The castle is closed - information for guidance only. The castle can only be visited during guided tour times. There are no self-guided tours. The ticket entitles you to visit the exterior of the castle.

The visit lasts approximately 50 minutes.
