Our history

Villeprévost, an 18th-century manor house in the Beauce region, is surrounded by a park designed in 1756 by a student of Le Nôtre to celebrate the love of the then-owner for his young wife. In her honor, the park's central axis is oriented towards the exact point where the sun disappears below the horizon on August 15th, her feast day. During the Directory period, the cellars of this château were used to imprison more than 300 brigands from the Orgères band of chauffeurs.
