Vaugrignon Castle

Overlooking the Indre Valley, surrounded by a dozen castles within a 20 km radius (including Villandry, Azay-le-Rideau, Saché, Chenonceau, and Loches), and just 15 minutes from Europe's largest aquarium, the Château de Vaugrignon offers a large, peaceful park with a private swimming pool, flower gardens, terraces with garden furniture, 15 hectares of forest, and river fishing.

Hot air balloon rides depart daily in summer (weather permitting and subject to the number of passengers). Helicopter arrival is also possible, as are guided tours of the castles (see website). The château also welcomes cyclists (hiking and cycling routes), and offers canoe and kayak trips on the Indre River).
