Our history

Nestled in a verdant setting framed by tall trees, the charming village of Valmont is overlooked by a magnificent 12th-century medieval castle. Its brick and flint keep is one of the oldest and best-preserved in Normandy. Built in 1100 by Robert d'Estouteville, the castle remained in the same family until 1715. Recent excavations undertaken by the new owner have unearthed the ancient foundations of buildings destroyed in the 19th century.
