Our history

In the small village of Bouzigues, on the shores of the Thau Lagoon, you'll find a museum dedicated to oyster and mussel farming. This community museum offers a glimpse into the lives of the fishermen and the various techniques they employ. Aquariums illustrate these different themes. A film, "The Story of Oysters," concludes the visit. Modern communication technologies and a remarkable reconstruction of traditional settings are combined with this ethnological exploration.
