Our history
Originally a fortified house built to guard a ford in a marshy area, the Château de Saint-Loup was erected by Eudes de Fouvent. Remodeled in the 18th and 19th centuries, it passed into the Menthon family in 1832 through the marriage of Valérie de Klinglin. Her father, Baron de Klinglin, extensively transformed the property. He notably added a vast landscaped park of over 60 hectares, planted with rare species and featuring a tranquil pond, ideal for a family stroll.
