Saint-Julia du Gras Capou

A former fortified free town, surrounded by moats and ramparts, with two access gates—the well-preserved Sers Gate and the Autan Gate—it likely existed before the Roman invasion. Its highest point was a temple, later converted into a church. This building was restored by Marguerite de Valois, and its typical 11th-century bell tower houses the oldest bell in the department (1396).
Near the village, the "Pastelier Mill" farm indicated a significant pastel production at the time.
