Saint Andrew's Church in Bonnes

Our history
The church of Bonnes is a Romanesque building, the main part of which dates back to the 12th century . Damaged by an earthquake in the 18th century , it lost its bell tower , which collapsed completely in 1889. It was rebuilt in 1892 , restoring the church's elegant appearance.
Inside, a side chapel catches the eye: its keystones are adorned with the coats of arms of the Montléon and Chasteigner families , who successively held the seigneury of Touffou . Among the notable features, one can also admire a holy water font dated 1668 , a precious relic of local religious history.
