Let's enter the Marquenterre and its capital, Rue, a historic town. Rue has preserved four buildings from the 15th and 16th centuries, classified as historical monuments. The Chapel of the Holy Spirit, in the Flamboyant Gothic style, which was a major pilgrimage site for many kings; the Hospice Chapel, whose chestnut vault is shaped like a boat hull and rests on beams decorated with hunting scenes; the belfry, a witness to the communal liberties granted in the 12th century, which dominates the town; and the half-timbered house.
