Ripaille Castle, the residence of Amadeus VIII, the first Duke of Savoy, who wished to retire there as a religious retreat, became the holiday home of the Engel-Gros family during the Belle Époque, who completely restored it. Initially surprised by the castle's rectilinear architecture and austere profile, you are immersed in a complete work of Art Nouveau art once you step through the gate. You then wander through the reception rooms, the apartments, and even the former kitchens and cellars. Finally, you end your journey in the peaceful gardens, which invite you to stroll between Lake Geneva and the Dent d'Oche mountain.
