Ravel Castle
Exceptional Chateaus & Castles
Our history
This imposing medieval fortress, with its 13th-century keep and five towers, including an octagonal one, was embellished in the late 18th century by Admiral d'Estaing, whose numerous naval memorabilia can still be admired.
A large terrace designed by Le Nôtre overlooks the Limagne plain and offers visitors a view of the Chaîne des Puys and the Monts-Dore mountain range.
