Our history
In the 16th century, the fortified house belonged to the Pimodan de Rarécourt de la Vallée family.
A new fortified house, built of dressed stone with a tower, a semicircular arched porch, and a central courtyard, was erected on the site of the old one, probably in the 17th and 18th centuries.
It houses more than eight hundred pieces of earthenware and pottery from Islettes, Waly, Lavoye, Rarécourt, Froidos, etc., as well as collections of archaeological artifacts, parchments, coins, autographs, and postcards.
