Our history
Ce pont canal métalique le plus long d'Europe (662,69 m), à la construction duquel l'ingénieur Eiffel a collaboré, permet aux péniches et aux bateaux de plaisance de franchir la Loire et de passer du canal latéral rive gauche au canal de Briare rive droite.
Construit de 1890 à 1894, il a été mis en service en 1896.
