Pierre Corneille Museum - MH - (1606-1684)

This house, which remained in the Corneille family throughout the 17th century, now offers a true journey back in time . Although the period furniture on display is not original, it accurately recreates the atmosphere of bourgeois life in the countryside during the reigns of Henry IV and Louis XIV.

Here you'll discover works by Pierre and Thomas Corneille, as well as their nephew Fontenelle, accompanied by engravings, sculptures, rare editions, and archival documents from the 17th to the 19th centuries. A period bread oven and a vegetable garden complete this charming bucolic scene.
