Court d'Aron floral and tropical park

Winner of the Vendée Tourism Grand Prize in 1999-2000, this 10-hectare floral park offers a romantic stroll in an exotic setting where canopies of bamboo, banana trees, palms, and eucalyptus provide a backdrop for ponds covered with rare water lilies and extraordinary Asian lotuses, creating a "floral spectacle unique in Europe." The 50,000 tulips are followed by Icelandic poppies, Japanese irises, Syrian hibiscus, and a collection of 40,000 lilies. The rose garden, with its 250 varieties, leads harmoniously to the château.
