Our history
The Seine, having wisely left Paris to carve its course in Normandy, welcomes us to its banks, to the quayside of its museum. The traditional flat-bottomed boat has found a port of retreat here. Ancestor of the barge , it is the mother of memories that surge forth here, as once the formidable, the fearsome tidal bore unleashed by the spring tides, that tidal bore which the development of the estuary swallowed into oblivion.
