Our history
It was in a small wine-growing village in the Corbières region that the 450,000-year-old Tautavel Man was discovered in the Caune de l'Arago cave, one of the most important archaeological sites in the world.
The museum presents unique prehistoric collections, showcased using the most modern museographic techniques.
