Middle Castle - Whoever grumbles

Nicknamed "Qui qu'en grogne" (Let no one grumble), the 15th-century castle was one of the most powerful fortresses of the Bishops of Metz . An impressive example of late medieval military architecture, it still proudly dominates its surroundings. Currently undergoing restoration thanks to the dedication of the Friends of the Castle Association, the site offers visitors a captivating immersion into local history. The manor house, already restored, houses several exhibition rooms. Guided tours allow visitors to discover the entire estate: the historical trail, the interiors of the manor house, the tower, the old prison, and the ramparts reveal the secrets of a rich and tumultuous past.
