Templar House
Exceptional Chateaus & Castles
Our history
An emblematic example of 13th-century urban civil architecture, the Templar House is said by some to have served as a granary for the Abbey of Saint-Wandrille. Having survived the flames that ravaged the historic district in 1940, it remains one of the few preserved vestiges of that era.
Now transformed into a museum, the Templar House preserves and showcases the memories of Caudebec's past. Through precious archives, old engravings, and numerous period objects, it offers a moving journey into local history, between living memory and preserved heritage.
