The Lanniron Orangery

The bishops of Quimper who resided at Lanniron had a green thumb . Those who succeeded them from the 19th century onwards simply added to the remarkable botanical collection, which lends a rare charm to this land. Magnificent gardens, created in the 17th century, cascade down in terraces towards the Odet River. The park covers 27 hectares, and the guided tour will lead you to discover large trees of great botanical interest: Ginkgo, Bibola, fig, magnolia, araucaria, Japanese cedar, Antarctic beech, Himalayan palm, as well as rhododendrons and azaleas. Located at the gateway to Quimper and on the banks of the Odet.
