Exceptional Chateaus & Castles

Our history

Adorned with formal French gardens themed around "Gold and Alchemy," the residence of the Marquises of Jumilhac (1655), a 13th-century fortress remodeled during the Renaissance and 17th centuries, is unique in France for the diversity of its roofs adorned with allegorical finials. The Spinner's Room (frescoes and legends), medieval and ceremonial staircases, a grand salon with parquet flooring in the Versailles style, a Louis XIII carved wooden fireplace, a kitchen with its copperware, a vaulted dining room, the Richelieu salon, a rose garden, and a labyrinth... all contribute to the splendor, charm, and mystery of this jewel.

A listed Historic Monument, this major site within the Périgord-Limousin Regional Natural Park welcomes visitors year-round for tours, filming, photo shoots, receptions, shows, theatrical performances, concerts, exhibitions, and more.
