Our history

The Manor of Gonneville comprises a 16th-century main house with a Henri IV wing attached to it. A dovecote and substantial outbuildings surround it. It was part of the seigneury of Gonneville, whose first known vassal was Robert de Gonneville in 1250.
The manor was the home of Paul Le Poittevin, grandfather of Guy de Maupassant, until 1860.
