Our history
It was in 1883 that Claude Monet, master of Impressionism, settled in Giverny, charmed by the light and serenity of the place. He lived there until his death in 1926, creating his most famous works, including the iconic Water Lilies .
Today, the painter's house and gardens have regained their former splendor: flower-lined paths, a lily pond, a Japanese bridge… everything evokes Monet's luminous palette. A poetic immersion into the world of a genius of color.
