Our history
Gerberoy is listed among the "Most Beautiful Villages of France." It was granted town status in 1202 by Philip Augustus. Its site was besieged several times between 1079 and 1437, and each time pillaged, dismantled, and rebuilt, thus preserving its authenticity.
In spring and summer, admire the roses adorning the facades of the houses along the narrow streets, for beyond the private gardens, Gerberoy is a garden unto itself.
The old houses give Gerberoy a distinctive charm.
