Our history
Located on the borders of Berry, Limousin, and Poitou, the Château de Forges is an architectural landmark renowned for its purity and historical coherence. The house, fortified by letters patent from Charles VII in 1442 to his "faithful cupbearer," Jean de Poix, remains a family heirloom. Today, Hugues, a descendant of the same name, continues to perpetuate this remarkable medieval history. Overlooking the Anglin Valley, the château offers numerous opportunities for walking, cycling, and canoeing.
