Our history

This former Augustinian abbey, founded around 1130 by Count William of Poitiers, impresses with its imposing proportions. Its understated decoration lends the whole a great elegance. The architectural originality lies particularly in the apse, naturally lit by seven semicircular windows that diffuse a soft and harmonious light, creating a unique atmosphere.
