Exceptional Chateaus & Castles

Our history

The town of Pons boasts a rich 12th-century Romanesque heritage, including its imposing keep, the Church of Saint-Vivien, the Chapel of Saint-Gilles, and the Pilgrims' Hospital. The latter, currently undergoing restoration, will regain its former appearance this year.

On the outskirts of the town stands a magnificent 16th-century castle, a small Renaissance gem now transformed into a puzzle park for the whole family.
The town hall is a 17th-century castle built on the ruins of the old citadel. Pons, a medieval town, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, recognized as a historic stop on the Way of St. James (Camino de Santiago).
