Cremel Manor Farm

Located near Bayeux, the manor farm is a fine example of the fortified farms of the Bessin region dating from the mid-17th century.

The façade of the main house, situated amidst a group of very cohesive buildings, is full of character with its dormer window adorned with a pediment, pilasters, and volutes. The interior retains its monumental Louis XIII fireplaces.

The property belonged to Marshal Bernardin de Bellefonds during the reign of Louis XIV, and then to Jean Bernardin de La Bigne at the end of the 18th century.
