Our history

In the heart of the Charolais region, this 18th-century château retains three vaulted rooms and a large hall from the former 16th-century manor, which was dependent on the Abbey of Cluny. Surrounded by a beautiful French-style garden, this prestigious château is closely linked to the region's economic history, as it was built by the prominent merchant and promoter of the Charolais breed: Jean Circaud de Chaumont.
