Dominican Cellar

Classified as a historical monument , the Dominican Convent is an emblematic 13th-century building. From 1290 to 1791 , it played a central role in the religious and social life of Collioure , radiating its influence over the region for more than five centuries.

After the Revolution, in 1791 , the Saint-Dominique church became state property and was transformed into an artillery depot .

It was in 1926 that the winegrowers of Collioure chose this imposing and picturesque building to install their cooperative winery , thus combining historical heritage and winemaking tradition.
