Cambon Castle

A former stronghold during the Wars of Religion, the Château du Cambon has retained many elements of its defensive past: a watchtower, ramparts, and the remains of the postern gate still bear witness to its strategic role. In 1755, the Marquis de Cambon transformed this fortress into an elegant country residence.

The remarkably well-preserved interior reveals a suite of reception rooms, refined period decor and authentic furnishings, making the castle a living example of the art of living in the 18th century.

Upon reservation, the castle offers immersive entertainment in the spirit of the Age of Enlightenment: costumed characters, staging of a French-style dinner, theatrical readings, videos and stage games, for an unforgettable cultural and sensory experience.
