Buzay Castle

Built in 1771 by Pierre-Etienne Harouard, shipowner, advisor, and secretary to the king, the château passed by marriage to the de Montbron family, who still own it.
On the courtyard side, it features a single-story main building with a projecting section forming an Ionic peristyle flanked by projecting pavilions.
On the park side, the façade is adorned with Ionic pilasters and a terrace. The interior decoration remains unchanged since its construction, with its wood paneling, exquisite furniture and family portraits, as well as a beautiful wrought-iron staircase.
