Banizette Estate

Nestled in a beautiful green setting on the foothills of the Millevaches Plateau, the ancient site of a fiefdom, the Banizette Estate dates from the 15th and 17th centuries. It encompasses all the elements of rural life from centuries past: a manor house, tenant farms, a dovecote, a vaulted sheepfold, a bread oven, a millrace, a mill, and a flower and fruit garden, making it a unique site in the Limousin region.

The guided tour invites you on a journey into the past: a rare collection of tools, implements, and vehicles once used on the estate bears witness to the rural life of our ancestors.

The treetop trail offers a pleasant and interesting walk through woods and meadows.
