Auzers Castle

Built between 1470 and 1510, this château, with its architecture characteristic of the Haute Auvergne region, has been inhabited by the same family since the 15th century.

Its windows offer a panoramic view of the Puy Mary mountain range.

The interior decoration of the building reflects the Auzers family's involvement in French history, particularly during the Ancien Régime, the Revolution, and the Empire. The vaulted dining room with its 16th-century furniture and the frescoes depicting the life of Jesus that adorn the oratory are not the only treasures this château holds. Visitors can also admire a significant collection of photographs (20x30 cm format), as well as a fine collection of early 20th-century lead soldiers.
