Château de La Vigne
Built in the 15th century with lava from the volcanoes of Auvergne and granite from the Xaintrie region, the Château de La Vigne boasts an exceptional panorama. Its terrace, laid out as a French-style garden, offers a sweeping view of the Auze Valley and the Cantal Mountains. Its inner courtyard is adorned with a well, basins, and columns. In this residence, which offers the warmth of traditional hospitality, the Princess of Condé stayed in 1648 during the Fronde, as did Jean-Jacques Rousseau in 1767.
Located in the heart of France, in Haute-Auvergne (120 km south of Clermont-Ferrand), in the northwest of the Cantal department (40 km north of Aurillac), between the Cantal Mountains (15 km from Salers) and the upper Dordogne Valley (10 km).
The owners personally welcome you and offer four bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, showers, and toilets, as well as the option of a suite.
Numerous sports and leisure activities are available nearby.
