Chatonnière Castle
The Gardens of the Château de La Chatonnière: Overlooking the Indre Valley and the Chinon Forest, the twelve flower gardens of La Chatonnière are alternately white and blue, fuchsia and salmon. Delightful with their maze of pergolas covered in roses and clematis, the 12 hectares of the REMARKABLE GARDENS OF THE CHÂTEAU DE LA CHATONNIÈRE, fragrant and blooming, surprising and changing with the seasons, are arranged around initiatory themes: Elegance, Silence, the Senses, Intelligence, the Sciences, Romance, Abundance, Fragrances, Pleasures, Luxuriance, Dance and France . Daffodils, peonies and irises in spring, poppies, cornflowers and roses in summer, dahlias, nasturtiums and asters in autumn, envelop La Chatonnière, a charming Renaissance castle, in magic and enchantment.
