Château Montlau welcomes you for a unique visit to the heart of its 25-hectare vineyard, located near Saint-Émilion. A true haven of peace, this estate offers an immersion into the art of viticulture and the production of fine wines.
Description :
Château Montlau is an exceptional wine estate, cultivating noble Bordeaux grape varieties, primarily Merlot and Cabernet Franc, complemented by Cabernet Sauvignon. The vineyard also includes three hectares of white grape varieties, planted with Sauvignon Blanc, Muscadelle, and Sémillon, producing refined wines such as Entre-Deux-Mers and Crémant de Bordeaux.
Throughout the year, meticulous attention is paid to every stage of cultivation, from winter pruning to harvest. The quality of the grapes is paramount, and targeted treatments ensure exceptional yields.
During your visit, enjoy breathtaking views of the vineyards and the village of Saint-Émilion from the château's terrace. Also discover the estate's wooden vat room, where the wine ages in barrels for 12 to 14 months, a key step in the production of Château Montlau's grand cru wines.
