The Château d'Orcher is steeped in history, offering an immersive experience in its elegantly preserved reception rooms. Guided tours allow you to discover its architecture and the vestiges of the past, in a setting that is both majestic and welcoming. Whether you are alone or in a group, the château invites you on a journey to the heart of its heritage.

Built in the 12th century to protect the entrance to the Seine from the top of its 90-meter cliff, the Château d'Orcher consisted of a square keep and an enclosure including towers at each end, separated from the plateau by a twenty-meter-wide moat.

In 1735, it was bought by the Rouen Planterose de Melmont family who transformed it in the style of the 18th century.

Since that date, its architecture has not changed and it has never been sold. Madame de Melmont will have the magnificent park designed and planted.

Opening hours and prices for visits:
Orcher Castle offers guided tours of the reception rooms every day from July 1st to August 15th, from 2 pm to 6 pm, as well as on Heritage Day Sunday. The castle is closed on Mondays.
For groups, visits can be arranged throughout the year by appointment.
