Description :
Beauregard Castle, a must-see site in Cellettes: what to see, what to do:
Discover its rich history through visits to its castle and park. One of the highlights of the visit is the Gallery of Illustrious Figures , a historical gallery adorned with portraits of important figures in French history, accompanied by fragments of Delft paving dating from the 17th century.
Among the other treasures to discover, don't miss the 16th-century Cabinet of Bells and the beautifully preserved 16th-century kitchen .
The estate covers 60 hectares, most of which is forest, while the immediate surroundings of the château feature a meticulously maintained English-style park . Behind the château, the lawn is laid out with a simple yet elegant French-style parterre .
The Portrait Garden reflects the harmony of the French formal garden, with its 12 small plant chambers evoking the species, colors, and symbols used in gardens over three centuries. This garden is a botanical echo of the Gallery of Illustrious Figures and offers a charming and unique stroll.
Finally, the estate is home to an exceptional collection of trees, such as cedars and oaks , which add to the majesty of the place.

Beauregard Castle
Beauregard, a rendezvous with history.
The barking of the pack of hounds and the sound of the hunting horn: Beauregard was the hunting lodge of Francis I. A rendezvous which, over the centuries and according to its occupants, has become a refined residence, as evidenced by its Cabinet of Bells, its "Gallery of Illustrious Figures" displaying 327 historical portraits, its exceptional Delft tiles, and its landscaped park and walled garden known as the "Portrait Garden" designed by Gilles Clément.
