Explore the Château du Colombier and its Medieval Garden of Eden
The Château du Colombier, nestled in the heart of the Causse Comtal in Mondalazac, just minutes from Rodez, invites you to travel back in time. Come and discover a unique place where history, nature, and traditions meet, with its Medieval Garden of Eden , a living recreation of Charlemagne's gardens in the 15th century.

Park and Activities:
Open from April 6th to August 31st, the castle offers daily animal feeding demonstrations at the Living Bestiary from 2:30 pm to 4 pm, followed by a guided tour of the castle at 4:15 pm. For groups, the park is open all year round by reservation.

Accessibility and Inclusivity:
The Garden of Eden is accessible to the visually impaired and blind thanks to a tactile map and Braille visitor guides. This sensory garden, where a thousand scents of roses, chamomile, thyme, and other plants mingle, immerses you in an unforgettable experience.

The Wildlife Park and Life in the Middle Ages:
The wildlife park offers an immersive experience in medieval fauna with bears, wolves, lions, birds of prey, and small game. Step back in time as you explore these enclosures, imagining the lives of medieval lords who even owned tame bears. Live displays and audiovisual presentations allow you to relive daily life in a feudal castle.

Garden and Activities:
Stroll through the Garden of Eden , where children and adults can relive games of yesteryear: skittles, bowls, billiards, hopscotch, and the barrel game. A true immersion into the "golden age" of the ladies and knights of bygone eras.

Flowers and Nature
The estate also offers a spectacular display of greenery, with snowdrops, apricot tulips, pink hyacinths, and the first flowers of spring already peeking through the blooms. Let yourself be captivated by this awakening nature.
