The Castle Buildings
- The Captaincy : This 14th-century manor house immerses you in the history of the castle's lordship, which passed very early to the House of Bourbon.
- The Keep and the Watchtower : The keep, the heart of the fortress, and the watchtower, nicknamed "The Watchtower", allow you to discover medieval defense methods while enjoying a breathtaking view.
- The Breach of 1576 : This breach was caused by attacks from the Protestant armies of the Prince of Condé. It offers a panoramic view of the Allier valley, a visible testament to the historical battles.
The Gatehouse and the Classic Cars
In front of the gatehouse, vintage cars add a unique touch to the atmosphere of the castle, evoking both medieval history and more recent eras.

- From 01/09 to 28/09/2025 Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 2pm to 3pm and from 4pm to 5pm.

Billy Castle
Billy The military fortress of Billy, in the heart of the medieval town, was built in the 12th century and was part of the Bourbon heritage for several centuries.
The main enclosure is remarkable for its oval shape and especially for its hexagonal watchtower, La Guette, which overlooks the town's houses and the medieval streets that wind around the castle walls. The gatehouse, which shelters the entrance, is still as imposing as ever, and a walkway along the southern curtain wall offers a magnificent panorama of the Allier Valley as far as the Auvergne Mountains.
Also worth discovering: the old streets around the ramparts and the Church of Saint Cyr - Sainte Juliette. Opportunities for hiking or mountain biking, fishing in ponds or rivers, canoeing on the wild stretch of the Allier River... Shops, restaurants, hotels.
